You need to be logged in to see prices.Fibre washers, also called red fibre washers, are sealing washers used to prevent leaks. The flexible material of the fibre washers allows it to conform to surfaces better, providing a more reliable seal. Made from vulcanized fibre, these washers are resistant to oils, solvents and chemicals, able to tolerate applications in the harshest environments.
Fibre washers are also often used as a spacer to reduce friction between metal components and ensure longevity to the assembly. A cost-effective and lightweight alternative to other washers such as aluminium washers, they are also non-conductive and can act as a superior insulator, critical in electrical components.
Pinstructure Fibre washers are produced from hard red vulcanized fibre in the following sizes:
- Metric sizes from 2.5mm ID x 6.5mm OD to 40mm ID to 52mm OD.
- Inch sizes from 9/64” ID x 3/8” OD to 49/64” ID x 1” OD.
