They are also available with plain or knurled contact surfaces and in a variety of materials and finishes. A very useful and versatile washer.
DIN 6796 washers are typically used in heavy bolted applications such as bus bars, transformers, flanges etc. They are also suitable to use with high tensile bolts 8.8, they can take up movement in line with the fixing bolt. Eg temperature changes or settlement over time.
Available in Carbon Spring Steel (Series F66A) and A2 stainless (F66D) as standard with some sizes in A4 stainless.
