Silver Steel BS1807h8 Dowel Pins
Silver Steel Dowels manufactured onsite to BS1804 Grade 2 are manufactured in both Inch and Metric sizes from material complying with BS1407. This range is supplied as standard in the unhardened condition.
Inch size Silver Steel Dowels are offered to BS1804 Part 1 Grade 2 and are manufactured in a diameter range from 1/16" to 4" with a diameter tolerance of -0.0025" to +0.00025" and length tolerance of +0/-0.20".
Metric size Silver Steel Dowels are offered to BS1804 Part 2 Grade 2 and are manufactured in a diameter range from 1mm to 100mm with a length tolerance of +0.5/-0mm and a 'h7' diameter tolerance band as indicated in the chart below.
